Request for Available Used Coal-Fired Power Plants (100–1000 MW)

Dear Sir or Madam,

We represent a power utility company based in Dubai and Asia, currently seeking to purchase a used or new (unused) coal-fired power plant with a capacity ranging from 100 MW to 1000 MW. The facility should ideally be no older than 15 to 20 years and in good operational condition.

In this context, we are acting as intermediaries and are in direct contact with a serious buyer who has already provided us with a Letter of Intent (LOI). The buyer intends to use the plant for power generation abroad.

We kindly request a concrete offer regarding any available power plant(s) within this capacity range. We are particularly interested in the following information:

Technical and commercial details:
•Installed capacity and configuration
•Efficiency, steam parameters, fuel type
•Year of commissioning and age of the plant
•Current status (operational, decommissioned, dismantled, etc.)
•Operational history (usage, total operating hours, load factors)
•Location of the plant and whether it has already been dismantled
•Asking price and commercial terms
•Scope of supply (e.g., turbines, generators, auxiliary systems, etc.)
•Maintenance and performance history
•Main equipment specifications (boiler, turbine, generator, etc.)
•Relevant documentation (photos, technical layouts, schematics, etc.)

In addition, we would like to know:
•Do you also offer services such as dismantling, transport, or even reassembly/installation at the destination site?
•Or would the installation need to be arranged by our client locally?

Please note that our client is open to offers for both used plants and brand-new (unused) plants that have not yet been commissioned.

Our client is also planning a broader energy infrastructure expansion abroad. A successful acquisition of this plant may mark the beginning of a long-term cooperation, including potential interest in other types of power generation technologies.
