The G3512 gas generator set is a gas-fueled power generator that is designed to provide reliable and efficient power for various types of industrial applications.

The CAT G3512 generator set is powered by a 12-cylinder, four-stroke Caterpillar G3512 gas engine. The engine is capable of producing 1,800 eKW (2,250 kVA) of power at 1,800 rpm. The generator set is also equipped with an alternator that produces 60Hz of power at a voltage of 480V.

The G3512 generator set is designed to operate on natural gas or other gaseous fuels. It features a high-efficiency combustion system that reduces emissions and improves fuel economy. Additionally, the generator set is equipped with a variety of control and monitoring systems that allow for easy operation and maintenance.

The G3512 gas generator set is ideal for use in a variety of applications such as power generation, peaking power, peak shaving, and combined heat and power (CHP) applications. It is designed to meet the requirements of the emissions regulations and offer low emissions and high efficiency.

The CAT G3512 is a natural gas-fueled industrial engine manufactured by Caterpillar Inc. It is part of the G3500 series of engines, and is designed for use in a variety of applications, including power generation, oil and gas production, and marine propulsion. The G3512 has a power output range of 1,150-1,650 bhp (859-1,230 kW) and is compliant with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Tier 4 emissions regulations. It features advanced technologies such as electronic fuel injection and an air-to-air aftercooler to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions.

CAT G3512 Series

The CAT G3500 series is a line of industrial engines made by Caterpillar Inc. that are designed for use in power generation, oil and gas production, marine propulsion and other industrial applications. The G3500 engines are available in a range of power output levels, from 550-2000 bhp (410-1491 kW) . They are designed to meet the latest emission regulations and are compliant with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Tier 4 emissions standards, using advanced technologies such as electronic fuel injection and an air-to-air aftercooler to reduce emissions and improve fuel efficiency.

The G3500 engines are known for their reliability, durability and low maintenance costs, they are also designed to be easy to service and maintain, providing a long engine life and reducing downtime.

What is (EPA) Tier 4 Emissions Standards ?

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier 4 emissions standards are regulations that set strict limits on the amount of emissions that can be produced by engines used in nonroad equipment such as construction equipment, agricultural equipment, and marine vessels. The standards are divided into four tiers, with Tier 4 being the most stringent. The standards for Tier 4 were phased in starting in 2011 for engines over 25 horsepower and were fully implemented by 2015.

The Tier 4 standards set specific limits on the amount of particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) that engines are allowed to emit. To meet these standards, engine manufacturers had to use advanced technologies such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs), selective catalytic reduction (SCR), and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) to reduce emissions.

The EPA Tier 4 standards help to reduce the amount of harmful pollutants released into the environment, and also improve air quality and public health.
