Mercedes OM 424 LA - 12 Cylinder, 615hp, 2400Nm

For sale: low mileage Mercedes OM 424 LA twin supercharged 12 cylinder diesel engine.

This engine was originally part of an airport snowblower system that could blow 5700 tons of snow an hour. The snowblower (including this engine and the truck) got minimal use. The airport I bought it from was in southern Illinois, my understanding is that they did not use it very frequently because they rarely got enough snow to use it efficiently, maybe once or twice a year.

I am selling this motor (and the snowblower separately) because I purchased the whole system to get the truck (Mercedes Unimog).
