REpower to Supply Turbines for Italian Wind Farm

REpower Systems has signed a contract with Alerion CleanPower to supply wind turbines for Alerion's San Marco wind farm in Lamis, Italy.

Under the contract, REpower will supply, install and commission 13 3.4M104 wind turbines, which will have a rated output of 3.4MW and a hub height of 80m each.

The company will provide services for the plant under a 12-year service agreement with Alerion CleanPower.

Construction of the plant is expected to begin this year.
