One of our principal’s vessel has No:2 Smag Grab failure. Problem is grab is closing but opening automatically slowly. According vessel crew investigations there is internal leakage or non-return valves problem. Vessel have spare grab cylinder seals but no have spare non-return valves. You can find attached required non-return valves and procedure of replacement seal.
However vessel no have special tools for dismantling cylinder. Special tools and grab details as below.
Vessel will be in CHITTAGONG Port 29.12.2020. Pls kindly give us lumpsum quotation for repairing Grab No:2 with required time.
