They need two old vessels which they suitable as FSO. One of them for jet fuel and another one for LPG.

These vessels just use as storage so it is not important if they are closed to scrap.

Low price is very important

What is FSO ?

FSO stands for Floating Storage and Offloading. It refers to a type of vessel that is used to store and offload crude oil or other petroleum products. FSOs are typically converted from old oil tankers or other large vessels that are no longer used for their original purpose.

In this case, the FSO was originally built in 1973 in Italy as an oil tanker. In 1987, it was converted into an FSO, likely to be used as a storage and offloading facility for crude oil or other petroleum products.

The vessel has a light displacement tonnage (LDT) of 43,482 metric tons, which is equivalent to 42,786 long tons. LDT refers to the weight of the vessel when it is not carrying any cargo, fuel, or supplies. This information is relevant for determining the carrying capacity and maximum load of the vessel.

Without additional information, it is difficult to determine the specific details of the FSO in question or the context in which the information is being offered.
